Description

Enjoy a 2-day tour from Hanoi to Sapa with accommodation and transfers included. Visit Lao Chai- Ta Van village and take a cable car up Fansipan Peak on a jam-packed multi-day tour. Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Lao Chai Ta Van village (Meal included: lunch and dinner) Depart at 6:15 AM and meet at 160 Tran Quang Khai street. Hop aboard a sleeper bus to depart for Sapa. Stop for short breaks in Phu Tho Province and Lao Cai city for light breakfast or coffee before arriving in Sapa Town. Be greeted by a representative in Sapa and enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese dishes. Trek through the rice terraces and along the Muong Hoa Stream. Arrive in the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai surrounded by Hoang Lien Son Mountain. exploring the nature of Ethnic people in mountain area. Car take you back hotel for Dinner Day 2: Sapa – Fansipan Peak – Hanoi (meals included: breakfast, lunch) After breakfast, enjoy a transfer to the cable car station. Your driver or guide will help you buy your cable car ticket (at your own expense) . Take the 20-minute cable car ride up to Fansipan by yourself. Admire the spectacular scenery, visit the pagoda, and climb the 600 steps to the peak, known as the Roof of Indochina. Return to Sapa and have lunch at the hotel. Enjoy time to explore Sapa on your own before boarding the sleeper bus back to Hanoi. Get dropped off at Tran Quang Khai street about 8:30 PM - 8:45 PM. From here you can make your way back to your hotel by yourself.

Important Information

  • Holiday surcharge of 25 USD per person to be paid directly to the guide (April 30, May 1, September 1, 2, and 3, December 31 and Jan 1)
  • Be sure to bring warm clothes, a scarf, and a hat as the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold from September through March. Due to the altitude, it can be foggy from December through March
  • Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sun cream, and insect repellent are also recommended
  • Remember to bring any needed medication with you
  • You should bring cash in Vietnamese Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes does not function well; U.S. dollars, Euros, and Australian dollars are accepted in Sapa
  • There is no guide on the 2nd day, only a driver
  • The sleeper bus has berths for 1 person and separate cabins for 2 people
  • The type of bus is a local sleeper bus, unless you want to upgrade to single cabin
  • The holiday surcharge is applied on April 30, May 1, September 1-3, December 31, and Jan 1)
