Important Information

  • The Ha Giang Loop is a long road trip. You should be prepared for long periods of driving and bring appropriate clothing and equipment for a multi-day trip. Safety is a top priority while traveling. You must be aware of the safety measures in place, including wearing a helmet at all times and following the guide's instructions. Accommodation is usually in traditional homestays or basic guesthouses, and meals are often simple dishes of local cuisine. Although this is an authentic cultural experience, you should be prepared to use basic amenities. We suggest bringing a small bag or backpack containing essential items to carry on the motorcycle. Your large suitcases or non-essential items will be stored at a hostel in Ha Giang City. The sleeper bus journey to Ha Giang takes about 7-8 hours. We provide pick-up and drop-off services to and from other destinations (beyond Hanoi) such as Sapa, Ha Long, Ninh Binh, and Cat Ba.
