Description
Day 1: Start your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Travel to My Tho, a city in the Mekong Delta. Stop at the Mekong Reststop to take a break before heading to the Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta. Continue to the Tien River and take a boat to Unicorn Island. Visit a pomelo farm and a bee farm. Enjoy honey tea and royal jelly from the farm. Take an electric car to the village of Xu Dua to listen to folk music. Enjoy a lunch of fried elephant ear fish and dinosaur’s egg. After lunch, take a rowing boat through a canal covered with water coconut. Return to the boat and head to Ben Tre, the hometown of coconut. Visit a coconut candy factory and try some candy. Return to the bus and travel to Can Tho. Check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner on a 5-star cruise. After dinner, explore the city at night. Wander around the walking street or enjoy the local cuisine at the Ninh Kieu night market. Day 2: After breakfast, visit the Cai Rang Floating Market. During the boat trip, see how Vietnamese people live on the river and their normal activities. Learn how the local people sell stuff on a boat, which is different from selling at the market on land. Continue to Cà Mau City. Visit the Somrong Pagoda in Sóc Trăng Province, which has the longest Sleeping Buddha statue in Vietnam. Visit the Tắc Sậy Church and the tomb of Bíshop Trương Bửu Diệp in Bạc Liêu Province. Arrive at Ánh Nguyệt restaurant for lunch. Travel to Mũi Cà Mau, the southernmost point of Vietnam. Take a picture with the coordinate landmark – GPS 0001, the symbol of Mũi Cà Mau – a sailing boat heading to the sea, Âu Cơ Temple, and more. Return to the local restaurant for dinner. Enjoy seafood such as shrimp, clams, and oysters. Return to your hotel in Cà Mau City. Day 3: After breakfast, travel to Bạc Liêu to visit the richest man’s house in the Mekong Delta in the 20th century. Visit The Sea’s Lady Temple to ask for happiness, wealth, and peace.
