An Dong Plaza

Located in the center of Chinatown/District 5, An Dong Plaza is a 4-story indoor market. This market is located in the same building as the Windsor Plaza Hotel, a well-regarded hotel in Ho Chi Min City.

These four floors are filled with fashion clothing stores, electrical goods, home decorations, groceries and accessories. The venue takes the concept of kitsch to the next level, slinging all things with bling: shiny sequin-encrusted baseball caps, faux-diamond rings and flip-flops with oversized plastic grapes glued onto them. Come here to enjoy admiring purple-colored knock-offs of Da Vinci's iconic David statue and be mesmerized by those huge plastic cats that wave their left paw up and down.

If you actually need some things or just want to window shop, this is a great place to spend some time. It is better than the famous Ben Thanh Market for a few reasons. One reason is that the shopkeepers are not as pushy here. Another reason is that you'll be surrounded with locals, which means some local prices on goods as well as on food around the plaza!
