The Old Quarter of Hanoi

Located by the poetic Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi's Old Quarter is a must-experience for everyone. 

This is one of the most iconic areas of Hanoi for locals and foreigners alike. At the very beginning of 20th century, each street offered a particular trade or good such as silver, bamboo or sugar. Nowadays, even though only a few of them still offer the same products, the street names still reflect the original business.
