Best Experiences in Cau Giay

Local Recommendations from our My Guide Vietnam team

Vietnam has an endless list of hidden adventures. The only way to truly tap into the local culture is to watch the locals in their most casual moments.

When you come to Vietnam, you'll always have something to do - the Cu Chi Tunnels, another pagoda, or another tour. It can be overwhelming at first, but fear not. If you find yourself being frantic while you are trying to plan every little detail of your trip, realize that you are missing one of the most important things about the country: its people.  Vietnam's people are some of the friendliest you'll ever meet. The greatest thing about living here as an expat, is to learn how the locals live their lives. Observing them is the best 'Thing To Do,' because Vietnamese people are role models for the rest of the world. They work hard and the streets are crazy all day, however, during lunch they stop work to relax with family, friends, and coworkers. They soak in the sun and sip down a Ca Phe Da (Iced Coffee). They realize that the most important things in life are not material items. So invest some time watching and learning from this great country because receiving 1000 smiles an hour will influence you in the most positive of ways.
